After a busy day, the Spaight Suite offers a tranquil place to relax. The suite features gentle blue walls, a King size bed and private bath.

The Stanly–Spaight Duel was the most notorious affair of honor in North Carolina history. In 1802, Stanly and Spaight campaigned for a legislative seat. However, the campaign turned violent and resulted in a duel to that ended in the death of Spaight. The Stanly and Spaight Suites are located across the hall from each other in honor of this duel.
